Jose Guadalupe Posada was a Mexican artist, caricaturist, and illustrator, who is considered the founder of modern Mexican art.
Born on February 2, 1852, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Posada came from a humble background as the seventh son of a poor indigenous worker.
