Renowned actor Talat Iqbal has passed away in Dallas, Express PK reported on Friday. The news of the popular PTV star's death was confirmed by the family. According to sources, Iqbal has been on the ventilator for a while due to worsening health. 

The actor had been living with his family in Texas, United States, for a while now.

His funeral will take place after Jummah's prayers today. 

Iqbal and his wife Sumbul Iqbal were touted to be the famous onscreen and offscreen couple back in the day. The actor started his career with Radio Pakistan in 1968.
