Biography of Idan Ofer
Idan Ofer is a renowned international business leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience.
Born in Israel in 1956, Ofer studied at the London Business School and graduated from the University of Haifa with a degree in economics and maritime transport. He comes from a wealthy background, as his father Sammy Ofer was one of the richest individuals in Israel.
After his father's passing on June 3, 2011, Idan and his brother Eyal inherited his fortune.
Ofer currently serves as the chairman of the international enterprise group "Quantum Pacific Group," which has made significant investments in the development of international shipping. The group has partnered with "Pacific Drilling," a deepwater drilling contractor listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
